You're wet

Short RS day so far. I'm waiting to give someone an amulet of accuracy and another person I offered to make marrentil tar for his salamander.

Today was hubby's day off. We returned some DVDs, got a couple books and some tv dinners. We came home and heard the washing machine going. Not the usual thud-thud-thud, but wham-wham-wham! Basement was flooded - the room with the washer and dryer, the little hall where our pantry lives and a bit of the bedroom. The cold water intake hose split and water gushed everywhere. The stairs are also soaked, meaning extra care when going on them.

Hubby is playing with the wet/dry vaccuum and, hopefully, sucking up some water. Nothing was damaged other than crappy carpet, but it's a huge mess.
